Who out of the next 8?
OK
I'm backing Kimberley and Ruben I think it was Kimberley who sang with Frenchie in the heats, and Kimberley had a huge voice as well Ruben, I seem to remember was the Luthor Vandross soundalike |

Yup, I'll be looking out for those two as well. But there's a buzz about Clay and Jacob too. I just hope they're better than last week.

I will most likely support Clay if his performance isn't too "Broadway." That could hurt him. Kimberly is excellent, too. I loved her and Frenchie's performance of "Band of Gold."

Thanks NDJ!!
I'm rooting for Kimberly and Clay for pre pics...but I'm also excited to see the talent of those we haven't seen yet. I also liked Kimberly and Frenchie singing Band of Gold too..sheesh..they both have got some powerful voices. |

You're welcome.
![]() I think Clay did fabulous. He performed "Open Arms" and sounded like he did in the mp3. The judges loved his singing, but still don't like his look. Would you call me a freak if I told you I already voted for him 25 times? It's worrying me that it is very easy to get through his line. ![]() My thoughts: Clay: see above Candice: hmmm. sang "Piece of my Heart." Didn't like it. Nikki McKibbin sang this on the first AI much better. Rebecca: she's very confident, that's for sure. I don't know why. Not impressed. Is something stuck in her throat? Jacob: please make it stop. I wish they would dump Paula, btw. Hadas: I think she really does look like Sandra Bullock. Nice voice. Ruben: good, but I don't understand the heaps of praise. am I missing something?! BTW, I think Ruben hurt Ryan when he sat on him. Haha. Kimberley: great job. But there is something about her that I can't quite put my finger on that really turns me off. Jennifer: wow, I think she wins the worst performance of the night! Horrible song to put to a piano. And why does everybody hate Simon? I love him. ![]() Okay, that's what I got from tonight's episode. Can't wait to hear everyone else's. |

I cant stand Paula, never could, even in her recording days. How can anyone respect her opinion when its so sickeningly sweet? Far better to get criticism if you've done an awful performance, then when you do give out praise, people respect it. Paula couldn't give constructive criticism to save her life.

Exactly, tally. When Simon praises a contestant it means something because you know he doesn't sugarcoat anything. Paula, on the other hand...
