Audio Leads Help Required
I am using an XBox as a DVD player and have Sky and I use a Panasonic Hifi to listen to them both (can't justify spending money on a Dolby system to the missus), the problem however is that the Panasonic only has one 'Auxiliary' connection which means that if I play a DVD I need to disconnect the leads from the sky box and connect the audio leads from the XBox.
Does anyone know if there is a bit of kit that would allow me to plug both the XBox and the Sky box into it and in turn into the Hifi?? If so could anyone give me a website address/contact number please? |

You could try item CN44X at Maplin .
They describe this as: "This attractively designed selector uses a push button switch to select the active channel to feed into an output which could be an amplifier.Uses RCA phono sockets as its inputs and comes complete with two RCA phono plugs at the outputs." http://www.maplin.co.uk/images/catal...es/23189i0.jpg |

I only have a budget of £250, but I do not need the dvd player, just the amp and speakers, any ideas what I should look at/look out for?? |

I would also recommend the Argos SCART Video Unit. I have an Nokia ex itv digital, VCR & DVD connected to my TV it has separate audio out connector for your Hifi.
Price £9.75 Cat.No. 534/0370 Allows connection of 3 pieces of hardware to a single SCART socket. Allows manual switching between devices. http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/commer...cgrfnbr=775395 |

Try to get a Sony HT-KT215 Home Theatre system.
It's a 5.1 and DTS amp and processor, five small speakers and a sub woofer. They are now obsolete stock and you should be able to get one if you shop around for less than £300. Mind blowing sound for the money and good looking too... |
