Audio Connections
I am using an XBox as a DVD player and have Sky and I use a Panasonic Hifi to listen to them both (can't justify spending money on a Dolby system to the missus) (via bog standard phonoleads), the problem however is that the Panasonic only has one 'Auxiliary' connection which means that if I play a DVD I need to disconnect the leads from the sky box and connect the audio leads from the XBox.
Does anyone know if there is a bit of kit that would allow me to plug both the XBox and the Sky box into it and in turn into the Hifi?? If so could anyone give me a website address/contact number please? |

2 sets of audio wires, only one input. I remember a few years back, I was in a similar situation. You need a switch box of some kind. Lump of plastic, 2 sets of inputs, one output. You will need to manually switch the unit however - annoying if you switch between devices a lot.
A number of all in one systems have a single input, although some have no such input at all. Anyone thinking of separates for the first time, should shop around. Many entry level AMPs have just 4 input's - which is not very many really. |
