The actor who plays Flynn is to leave the show. He has decided he has had enough and a new actor is to replace him.

One of the original cast members of Home and Away may soon depart the show. It is not yet confirmed who, but soon enough it will be a sad goodbye from either Donald Fisher, Alf Stewart or Sally Fletcher.

After the death of Vinnie, Leah turns to Jesse's for comfort. Jesse's flirting with Leah continues, and soon turns into a more serious relationship.

The biggest shock in Home and Away has to do with Ailsa Stewart (Judy Nunn). Ailsa died in the 2000 season finale from a heart attack but the shock is, Ailsa's coming back to the Bay. Not much is yet known but it's certain its not part of a dream or as a ghost. This will be a major event in the year, how this can be, we'll have to wait and find out.
Sophie Simpson (Rebekah Elmaloglou) who was last seen at Summer Bay's 150th Anniversay celebrations is returning again this time as a permanent character. Sally (Kate Ritchie) invites her foster-sister to return for a holiday with her daughter, Tamara, but Sally has other intentions. Sally wants Sophie to be a surrogate mother for her and Flynn's baby. Since Sophie's staying in the Bay for a while to come, it's pretty likely she'll say yes
Morag (Cornelia Frances) is headed back to the Bay. After a recurring role as Alf's (Ray Meagher) sister for the past 10 years, and making her last guest apperance in 2001 (to coincide with the departure of Duncan (Brendan McKensey)), it is not yet known whether Morag will return to the Bay permently or not. Cornelia no longer has to worry about The Weakest Link, so maybe Morag might be a permanent fixture in the Bay.
Jesse's daughter, Rachal returns to Summer Bay to live with him.
Rebecca and Travis decide to sell the old Nash house (Leah's house). Leah cannot afford to buy the house on her own, so Jesse comes up with an idea to share the house with her. Jesse and Rachal and Leah, VJ and Alex.
Jesse develops a crush on Leah.
Jesse is faced with a huge dilemma. He gets the chance to make some money, illegally, which would set him and Rachal up for life, but would also get him into trouble if he is found out.

A character named Adrian, will play a guest cast member. He will be a student in Sally Fletcher's History class, and will somehow have a storyline involved with Nick, Jade and Seb.
Vinnie does not return to Summer Bay after his two years in jail. The reason being that Vinnie dies while inside. Most probable cause of death being cancer which returns after his scare a few years ago. This storyline co-incides with the fact that Ryan Kwanten, who played Vinnie, has no plans to return to the soap.
Irene's (Lynne McGranger) relationship with Paris, who moved a couple hours away from the bay, in the end does not last. She just doesn't find enough time to see him, and slowly they drift apart
After leaving Summer Bay in discrace in 2001, none other than Shauna Bradley (Kylie Watson), returns. Not much is known yet about why she returns but it could have something to do with wanting to get back with Jude (Ben Steel), returning to visit Alf (Ray Meagher), or for other reasons unknown. It is known, however, that Sally (Kate Ritchie) still does not like Shauna and is very protective of Flynn (Martin Dingle-Wall) around her. Shauna's return should screen in Australia in around June/July.
Also returning soon is Max Sutherland (Sebastion Elmaloglou), the nephew of Rhys and Shelley and the cousin of the Sutherland girls. Not much is known on this storyline either, but it could have something to do with Rhys' brother, Pete returning to his gambling ways.
And a not so welcome back is none other than Kane Phillips (Sam Atwell). Kane left the Bay last year after he kidnapped Shauna and attaked Dani. The big shock however is that he and Kirsty start dating and she keeps this kidden from her family! This will surely end in disaster!
Living Arrangements
Hayley and Noah want to move in together, and they find the perfect place. One problem; they can't afford it. So they make a deal with Josh. He doesn't want to live in the Caravan Park forever and he has the money, so they all buy a place together.
New Character
More is know known about the new character arriving shortly in the Bay. Aimee played by Rhiana Griffith, become friendly with Josh. Could this cause problems between he and Dani?

I don't keep up with Home and Away, the last one I saw was when Sophie was about to lose one of the babies, what happened in the end?
She lost one, (sally & Flynn's) and was keeping her own and after a load of angst decided to get back with Blake and live happily ever after.
There's a lot of new stuff coming in home and away which i am very glad about because it has different storylines than others soaps dont you think?

i'm not sure about different storylines, but the way they are played is different, they have an awful lot of research and psychological and medical teams input, they tend to go for the less sensational approach and characters (with a few exceptions) tend to be fairly consistent. The 'atmosphere' is a lot friendlier too compared to British soaps, less people who hate each others guts!
i agree with you there. Its not like the other soaps because it only has a few people in e.g 20 people where the other soaps have lots and lots.

lol I don't know where to begin telling you whats wrong with some of them spoilers. However as I'm from Ireland and we are several months ahead of you guys, a good few months judging by the spoilers, I won't spoil it for you.
I will confirm that current actor playing Flynn with the long hair and stuff, will be replaced by a slightly older looking guy with short hair and no facial hair, Joel McEllroy.
Morag returns as Alf deteriorates further. Ailsa also makes an appearance aswell yes thats true. I won't say in what form.
Sophie does come back but it's not permanent, again I won't say what happens.

i dont think sally and flynn goes like that. in the next to months they will get married and i heard there wedding is very goos from my friends. id have to check that. I don't know if that is true.
