I've got a TX32PB50, and I like it a lot.
The difference between the one you quoted and mine seems to be yours would just have virtual dolby, and mine has dolby digital, prologic, and dts. Yours create the effect of surround sound using just two speakers where as mine has five actual speakers. Judging from just a quick glance at the Panasonic web site, there is not much else different. Picture quality is good, though don't sit too close if you're watching a digital broadcast as you can just about see blocking if you really look for it. With a good broadcast the picture is brilliant and crisp. There's lots of settings to tweak to get the picture to how you like it. Want to know more? If you can afford it, get the PB50 as the surround sound is great! |

I've got a TX28PL10 (don't need the fancy sound options cos I already had a DD5.1 amp anyway) and I think it is bloody excellent. Only thing that looks bad is sideways-scrolling text like the credits on the end of some programmes - I think its something to do with the way the 100Hz interlacing works. Doesn't bother me at all, usually stick the text on at this point to see what's on next.
