I surely will - though it will have to wait till next pay day. I am still trying to live on the Christmas pay, and am down to my last few squid!

Keep this thread bumped up and I will do it in the next couple of weeks if that is ok.

And well done you!

I have today finally lost the lbs I put back on over Xmas.So on with the master plan.
I did the Hydro Active Challenge in Hyde Park 2 years ago for Ovacome as they were invaluable with info when my Mum was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer. It hurt my knees training for it and the day itself finished me off so didn't do it last year but went up to support the others doing it again.I've since found I have no cartilage left in knees so won't be doing it again either.Quite a relief to have an excuse...lol.
The thing that amazed me was how many people have been touched by huge traumas in their lives and go on to raise money for the charities that helped them.I found it very humbling. Without the support from organisations like marie curie and cancer support etc an amazing amount of people would be so much worse off ,so well done you.

well done you too thats an amazing acheivement especially seeing as how you were suffering with your knees! Its amazing how you see people like yourself and others that do things for charity no matter how much they are suffering or how much they have been through ! well done hun

I'm very keen to sponsor you - is there any way to send the donation to you via paypal? I just got a bit nervy about putting my credit card details through yet another website (I'm a compulsive internet shopper ). If you have a paypal account just PM your email address to me and I'll send you the money directly (it also won't incur that 5% fee). If not I'll go back in and sponsor you anyway.

BTW isn't the Marie Curie foundation the charity which Karen supports? Over on the Karen and Mark thread Gilberto was producing a 'Maren' highlights dvd and donations were being split between Marie Curie (on behalf of Karen) and a second charity chosen by Mark. So if they've noticed a 'mark'ed increase in donations this year you can let them know its thanks to SCD .

Good luck!
