Contrast?

I just got my new 5800 pvr today. I set it up quite quickly but it seems to be working alright except that everything has a slight green tinge. How do i change the contrast to it so that people look healthy as apposed to ill? Or do you think a connection might be loose.

It's just the atmospherics, with all this weather we're having you are just picking up a stray signal from Vulcan.

EDIT: just noticed your location, that confirms it!

Well the picture having a green twinge cant be right can it - I have not seen this so yes check all connections and maybe swap scart leads etc.

Another thought is what output is your toppy doing - if it set to RGB and your TV is not RGB capable then the picture can look "off".

So try setting the av output to CVBS in the menu under System Setting and see what happens.

Check that you have Menu - System Setting - A/V Output Setting - Video Output - set to RGB and that the Tv Scart is an RGB enabled one.

Edit what Yorkie said but I put it the other way round

I just checked the connections and pushed the scart connected to my tv and it sorted. The scart was tough to get in.
