Migrating to another ISP
I was thinking of joining fast.co.uk as my ISP. They say here
http://www.fast.co.uk/broadband.php that if you have ADSL installed then the migration is free and the installation cost is waived. Do I take it that I fulfill these criteria? I read about the problems leaving HC and signing up with another ISP in this thread http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...d.php?t=507307 bur read somewhere recently that OFCOM were introducing new legislation in February that a MAC code had to be issued. Anyone know if this is true or how it would affect the transfer? |

You'll still need to cease your ADSL then place a new order with your new ISP (who may well charge you a setup fee), you won't qualify for the free migration since that only applies to adsl services provided by BTW. |
