Cousins was her married name and i am not sure when but i think it might have been just before the Australian version where she split from her husband. Lenko is her maiden name. In the Australian version she said she was single so that is why i presume she split just before the Australian version.

Kristina said during the Australian series of DOI, "I'm single". Apparently they split up in the summer.

Elena Berezhnaya has given an interview saying that her and Steven Cousins are "engaged" .................. even though she says she isn't in love with him because she thinks being in love is "shady" and he hasn't actually proposed to her, or her to him if she's that type, because "that's not necessary" .

She says they'd known each other for years on the circuit but he suddenly started showing interest and she "went with the flow".

Sounds like Steven's got himself a fine catch

Also he intends to stay in Canada and she intends to stay in Russia. I can see that marriage working out, can't you?

Maybe he was playing away then so to speak Kristina and Steven must have spent so long apart though with their skating commitments. Rumour has it that Kristina and Matt have a thing going on

It's just a rumour so you might still have a chance. But apparently they share a flat while they are over here and are always pictured together. Maybe Steven played away or mybe Kristina did or maybe work committments made them drift apart

I saw the transcript of that interview with Yelena Berezhnaya this morning. She sounds more like an unhinged stalker than someone's fiancee.

Kristina was rumoured to have gotten close to her celeb parnter on the Aussie DOI. Its a shame she split from her husband because she always seemed pretty devoted to him during the last series.

As for Kristina and Matt, I heard they were related?

Well, I suspected he was, but I didn't know he was out. The Americans are always coy about these things, and Matt has never stated so publicly, so I'm rather surprised it's been mentioned here.

Well, I quite fancied Matt myself last year, but I thought this year his hair made him look like a sleaze ball, please don't beat me girls for saying it. Anyway, he's all yours I quite fancy Fred this year. He's got a kind of Nick lachey look about him.

The Elena Berezhnaya and Steven Cousins thing was something of a shock a few months ago and it pretty much came out of nowhere but on the back of another shock breakup in the skating world that Cousins was rumoured to have been involved in.

Kristina has always seemed a really sweet girl and as someone mentioned, very devoted to Steven, but he hasn't quite got the whitest of white reputations for relationships in the skating world...

As for Matt... mmm, very gorgeous!

If Steven cheated on Kristina then more fool him

I do not know anything about Steven Cousins (not related to Robin?) but I think Kristina is lovely and a beautiful skater. He must be barking mad and I have no idea who Elena, his new passion, is! With all this scandle and gossip I must watch more Ice Skating!! !!

Don't think Kristina has much to worry about! I'm sure a potential line of suitors is forming.
