Just upgraded to twin record the most I can get is 4 day EPG but good enough for me .
The question I would like to ask .
Has anyone put a bigger hard drive in the 80gb pvr ie the 160gb or higher capacity and if you have how does it perform.

Well after trying twin record for a day or 2 found that the software causes problems with teletext it takes longer to appear and if you muck about with the epg then try to use text it does not work at all only switching off and back on cures this problem it has also started to freeze on certain channels uktv history with a good signal and thats when its not recording
I have change it back to a single record tuner

Could owners who have this box tell me what the software version number in the configuration menu is , after reprogramming back to single record software , it says after programming , it is V.4.9 (uk) is this the same as the original asda dual pvr80

Forgot to add
When scanning for new software what is the last software version on the screen is it 2006-09-01 AT 14:17:06 or is it a different date.
This question is only for the Dual pvr 80 owners sold at asda
