Her facial expressions were a bit off key I thought

I can't stand her to be honest, always thought her a bit over rated but then I'm not a bloke so I'm obviously blind to her charms
She's not as fab as she thinks she is and she wears far too much makeup, she's much prettier without it

I found it funny she nearly fell over when she kicked the cone!

She's very up her self.

hasn't she just??
according to the daily mail yesterday she's been having extensive training at a slough ice rink which she more or less confirmed last night

maybe she'll end up like that woman in casualty last night [the saucy pensioner who kept falling over ]

She skates well but isn't popular enough to win

i didn't think she skated that well to be honest, she wasn't awful but there were others miles better than her

She's 6/1 at WillHills, same odds as Kyran, joint third favourite.

I think she'll be around for a few weeks but I don't think she'll win it
if she does then it's fixed

Come on now folks

Like her or loathe her - she came out last night and skated like a pro! Elegant, classy and stylish, and didn't make a mistake. And that slow skating is devilishly difficult to do well (look at poor ol' Foxy for a lesson in what it SHOULDn't look like!)

More power to her for at least giving something like this a go, and having agreed to do it - at least trying to do it well.

And Torvill and Dean say she's good - and they should know.....

I suppose...but she wasn't the best last night by a long shot
duncan and claire were the best and even Stephen Gately performed really well which considering his nerves must have taken some doing [well done stephen!!]
I thought Kay Burley was very good too, so no , Ulrika has a lot to prove but hey it's only a bit of fun.

no she wan't the best - but she wasn't the worst by a very big margin

Her 3rd place was merited, as were Claire and Kyrans places above her....

I'm not particularly keen on her as a person either, but credit where it's due she's done well so far - and the pros think she's one of the best skaters in the competition....

well, we'll agree to disagree
I've never skated so who am I to judge?

I don't like her, never have, never will. Although she's my least favourite Celebrity there, she's definetly not the worst. My mum thinks she'll win it!

i don't think she will win it and hope not, unless it's truly merited but I think Duncan or Claire have a serious chance of winning this anyway [thank goodness!!]

I will concede that no she wasn't the worst and personal bitching shouldn't intercede here but i still can't stand the woman lol

It's going to be fun to watch the next few weeks anyway, really enjoyed the contest last time round

My money is on Duncan or Claire to win

I thought Ulrika was great. One of the best of the celebs last night, along with Clare and Duncan. All three of them were miles ahead of the others.

I don't think she has much chance, simply because it's largely a popularity contest and she's blotted her copy book in that regard on more than one occasion. I think the first time I noticed a surprisingly spiteful side to her was in some reality show she was in where she was quite mean to Doon McKichan.

Since then there have been other things that have tainted her in the public eye - for example the vindictiveness of her newspaper column. She might also suffer from the double-standards that still apply concerning the behaviour of men and women - for example the bed-hopping and adultery and the fact that she seems ruthlessly competitive - something which I think partly did for Smillie on SCD.

From what I've read in exposes on her in the past couple of years, she seems to think she's a lot more popular than she actually is.

Ulrika danced beautifully ...they are a vast improvement on last year....fortunately not knowing who half of them are I do not feel obliged to vote on popularity....I will vote on performance

So scrawny and far too orange - you can see by her demeanour that she thinks she's the 'top draw' celebrity in this series

I thought she was pretty good - very romantic performance - and her outfit was probably the best one out there. The others were so OTT. I'm not sure she'll get the public vote though.

She has become very haggard, why is this, she looked sensational when she was younger and she is still in shape. Maybe she smokes? Sunburns her face? Sold the oil painting in the attic? Your views, please.

I think she's gonna be like Bonnie last year -

Holds on to her partner for dear life but can't skate on her own.
Get's thrown around a lot so it looks impressive.
The judges will like her & will keep her at the top of the points table.
She will go when the public gets to choose.

Why are you saying third place?? They announce them in no particular order. Also I would have thought Duncan would have been way above her as not only was he one of the best but he has a massive fan base.

I'm not surprised she was good though as she had an advantage. All children in Sweden learn to skate more or less as soon as they can walk. Even if she hadn't done it for 30 years she still had an advantage.

She and Duncan were 3rd equal behind Claire (1st) and Kyran (2nd) on the judges leaderboard - hence why I said she was 3rd - because she was (well with the judges and me anyway)
