I just loved the comment by the voice over person thingamyjiggy who, following her routine, said: "that was a great horizontal position by Ulrika".

Yeah that is because she's had plenty of practice. *snigger*

lol - I was thinking exactly the same!

I'm sure she's done a fair few horizontal lay-outs in her time. Ah, the irony....

It was Comic Relief does Fame Academy. That's what made me dislike her. That and the article I read on her in the Daily Mail Saturday Morning. I don't know if it's true or not, you can never be too sure with Newspapers, but hmmmm....

I'm so sorry, jumped to conclusions obviously. I should have thought for a minute

The thing that annoys me about Ulrika is she's always saying how she can't do it and how awful she is in rehearsals and then when it comes to it on the night she's usually one of the best. Her angst gets on my nerves.

Let's face it, she's a pain in the ass.

I actually thought she performed last week's routine OK, but the faux angst is certainly annoying!

I wanted Phil to win the skate-off, though I knew the judges wouldn't even consider that.

Ulrika didn't actually fall over in the skate-off, but she wobbled and stumbled aboiut a lot. Okay, so they're doing harder stuff than Phil, but isn't it better to do it competently?

Her lloks have nothing ot do with her skating.??? She is not the worst but is down in bottom 3 imo.Her main positive is being graceful up to a point.

Doubt she will win

Judging by the state of her face in some of the close ups I would have to chose....ALL OF THE ABOVE.

She was pulling some real scowls when the judges were deciding at the end. Wonder if her PR peeps will have a word before next week so that she smiles instead of gurning.

I just can't believe how old and haggard, she looks well WORN out and for doing something like this.

Duncan and Steven also are looking quite Plump these days!

I was reading in todays paper that Ulrika has her own personal make up assistant for this show. Either the person isn't any good or she's doing the best in the circumstances with very poor subject material.

I can't remember too good (it was over a week ago ) but it said how she took her Dancing on Ice outfit home with her to have it altered so that it would show a bit more flesh, how she told the boys exactly what she gets up to in the, er, bedroom, and how because of this the only girl in the competition she really gets on with is Lisa Scott - Lee.
Like I said in my previous post, it's a newspaper, so you never know how true these rumours are. Half the time they take 25% fact and elaborate on it.

As much as 25%?

Agree about the make-up and hair. I thought she looked sick at the thought of going through after the dance-off, alternating with the delighted smile

did anyone else notice that when the last couple to go through was announced ulrika skated off without even congragulating them or wishing phil good luck in the skate off. He turned round after congragulating kyran to see ulrika and she had already gone, i thought what a b#tch.

Also how can someone be announced as a tv presenter when they haven't presented anything since "the match" which was a couple of years ago oh sorry i forgot about the one off on morning tv show "city hospital" last year. I might as well call myself an actress as i had "the" lead role in a school play years ago.

I wonder why people stopped employing her could it have been the john leslie thing or the mr wright thing or the sven thing or something else.

She wasn't the worst on the night, but she is so unlikeable she just won't get far.

To be bottom 2 with such a high score from the judges is really not a good sign.

She looks absolutely wretched. I think it's from way too much sun. I read that she claims to be 39, my God she looks so much older.

Ulrika didn't look happy at all in the skate-off!

Clearly she is not the most popular of contestants, and she is going to do herself no favours by coming across as ungracious.

You're right, probably not even as much as that

However, there was a little article about her in a paper today (I'm not sure which one, something like The Sun or NOTW) saying how she was really bitter about having to do the skate off on Saturday night, and she (apparently ) laid into Duncan, Lisa and Stephen (although for some reason I don't think he gets a mention in the article ) about how she "cannot guarantee to reform her old pop band" (or wrods to that effect) *sigh*

I think this refers to something said on Defrosted. When asked what they would do to persuade the public to vote for them, a few of them 'jokingly' promised they would get their bands to reform if they got through. So when Ulrika made that comment it was with wry humour and not 'having a go'. The papers do like to put a spin on thingss, particularly now that CBB is over.

I agree maltipom. I'm not saying I think Ulrika is the most likeable person in the comp. but have nothing particular against her as haven't seen her (as herself) in anything else really. I'm just judging by what I see on the night - yes the angst is a little annoying, although given the public's apparent reaction to her, she's kind of right isn't she? I can see why she's nervous about the whole thing.

Personally, I think she skates beautifully and seems relatively confident on her own. She skated much better than Phil in the skate off and deserved to be saved. (Not that i don't like Phil mind, I thought he shouldn't have been in the skate off either).

I hope she goes really really soon.

Don't like her, can't explain why, completely unreasonable dislike of her, just want her out.

Her orange-ness was really scary on Saturday
