Carphone Warehouse Vodafone Upgrade
madwlf

Hi,

I'm coming to the end of my Vodafone contract and found I could upgrade my phone on the Carphone Warhouse website.

I typed in all my details, selected the phone, but at the checkout it's asking me for Direct Debit details. Does this mean I'm entering a new contract with Carphone Warhouse and not Vodafone?

Cheers.

You will be entering a contract with the Carphone Warehouse on behalf of Vodafone.

Carphone Warehouse no longer look after Vodafone accounts due to their incompetance so unless you have a PAYT pone, CPW will not be able to help you.

They've kissed and made up now unless I've missed them falling out again in the last few weeks?

I recently upgraded and got quite a good deal from (surprisingly enough) vodafone themselves.

CPW wouldn't do the W850i on an upgrade and even if they did it would have been on my same crap tarrif. VF gave me the phone for free and put me on a lot better tarriff at £35 per month

I'm surprised that Vodafone went crawling back to the CPW. I've had nothing but bad experiences with CPW.

They only deal with Pay As You Talk for Vodafone, nothing for contract customers.
