It's a cheap set set with a cheap name on it (don't know who makes it though), if you're looking for a cheap LCD it's probably as good as any other?.
But I would suggest comparing the picture with a good quality LCD, usually the cheap ones look so much poorer!. |

i bought one
I bought the 32 inch version with the digital/freeview and the picture is very good on analogue and digital.
Much better than a older non hd version that argos were selling (i returned) which is now something like £280. Interestingly the older one I took back I saw the exact same casing on a ASDA own brand (ONN) tv set. The newer one your on about should be good though and I think most stores have that model (or the 32 equivalent) on display too. Sky viewers will find no problems with a remote code either Im using 0049 Hope that helps Rich |

Okay, usually two teams playing against each other kicking a ball around! LOL.
I always find snooker a good background for testing a picture, just recently I have been buggering around with TVs trying to get pictures good and so on, and the Snooker is a good steady colourfull background. Both seemed quite good but the later rounded edge models seem far superior. Maybe to do with being HD ready or soemthing? Interestingly whilst wandering around Woolies today I see the original cheaper Bush 26 and 27 inch tv thats now a argos £280 buy, in the form of BEKO. The same casing/buttons on the set as the Bush and also the Onn? at Asda. |

Well Beko are one of the cheap Turkish manufacturers, so many of the cheap sets will come from them. Vestel is the other large Turkish TV manufacturer - and make many of the cheap Freeview boxes as well.
Bekp also make electric cookers for almost EVERYONE - compare all the makes, exactly the same layout - different shape knobs!

I set it by pressing as follows. (I think) tv select and red together for 2 seconds unitll double flash. tv 0049 (shoudl see double flash after pressing last number) volume up to see if works select (if it does) thats it, if volume doesnt work then its probaly the remote is too old. Double check the procedure though, I'm sure its right but was a few days ago. Its well covered on here somewhere. deffinately 0049 code though. |

I was looking at getting the 32" one but the argos descriptions say very little about it. What connections does it have? argos say only 1 scart socket, is that right?

even some sort of module that you can get to plug in to make it topup tv equiv. Not sure if that is obtainable on the market though or a possible future proof piece thats been added. |

I got this T.V back in February now it keeps freezing and when you turn it off then on again to solve this a purple screen is shown !!!
Any ideas ??? The only way to solve it, is unplugging it for about 10 minutes. |

Get an engineer out to it as it's faulty and under warranty.
