First episode got an excellent 8.6 million viewers with the skate off getting 5.6 million. It should only get better as the series progresses

Excellent! Shame that when it comes to voting for TV Awards people have forgotten about Dancing On Ice and give it to The X Factor all the time.
Thanks for the update. It was 11.2 million for last year's first episode, so hopefully will pick up. 
Any news on week 2 ratings?
It doesn't seem to have caught the public imagination yet as it did last year.
I think after Barrowman went out last year, it became the thing everyone talked about at work on Monday morning right thru to the final.
So far, I know only one other person who's watched it, and they got bored halfway through and wandered off
I think there are a few missing viewers - including my mum!- maybe cause the celebs are too centred on recent pop stars, there was more variety last year with Bonnie, David etc. People my mum's age are finding it difficult to have anyone they can relate to, last year she liked Gaynor and Bonnie. She's never heard of Lisa or Duncan or the rugby guy!
