hi i have a samsung dvd player which is connected to my satelite and home cinema i have a scart lea which plugs into the back of the tv and in the other end goes my dvd and home cinema for some reason when playing a dvd ther lines or other shadows moveing across the screen is there a pin or somthing i have to remove to get rid of thease lines any help would be great.

Yes, two options:

Get a screened / shielded scart cable

or cut pin 19 lead inside the scart plug that goes into the TV set. (mame sure the cut lead cannot touch another laed or casing - tape it up once cut)

(Top right I think as you look at the backside of the scart, but CHECK first as there are usually numbers inside the plug to identify.)

The lead will now only work one way around, so if you unplug and flip it around, you'll get no pictures from the DVD!

I find it simpler to turn off my digital system when I'm watching DVD's.
