For anyone who is interested the 2002 season finale for Neighbours is on BBC One and RTE/Network 2 today.

It involves one of the Scully's getting pregnant and Karl and Susan getting married. Plus Nina is singing over the credits(but not for very long in the UK).

And tomorrow we are getting new credits. Shots of the episode in Ireland and a general Ramsay Street background in the UK .

I think what he means is that Irish viewers will be able to see stills from the episode over the closing credits, while in the UK we'll be getting a general Ramsay Street background.

It is Lynne who is pregnant.
if you want to be ahead in the Neighbours story line goto the website www.neighbours.com/ and click on TV GUIDE at the top, then select ARCHIVE then look through the AUSTRALIAN ARCHIVE.
They are ahead of us by about 4 or 5 weeks.

Haven't watched neighbours for a long while. What episode was filmed in Ireland (& when is it due to be screened here?)

PS: thought Kennedys were already married (or have I missed something)

ooohhh yes. Basically, Susan slipped on some milk and lost her memory completly. She gradually decided tomarry Karl again.

I'm not sure about this irish episode. I *think* they mean that the version of neighbours they receive in ireland, is slighty different to the uk version (which is very different to the aussie one).

- well that was confusing

after seeing Neighbours on both RTÉ and BBC the only difference is the closing credits where in Ireland we get all the sponsors names like Quantas at the very end

That used to work, but they've changed the site now and I can't find it anymore.
The UK link takes you to the BBC and the Ozzie link takes you to a much smaller site!

All they have done is re-designed thier site. And the UK version is now on the BBC's website.
The Aussie site still has the updates, which is still a few weeks in front of us, so we can still get spoilers.

And the sponsorship for the Bill has gone too now!

Was just wondering, what was the song that Nina sang at Karl and Susans wedding called? They are always playing the song and I just wondered what it was called, also it was a shame Nina mimed because she has a pretty good voice.

Cheers

Dunno what that song was called, as Id bever heard that one before. the only one that I know is 'Born To Try' that she released over here. Im sure if you did a search for her by her real name Delta Goodrem, Im sure you will be able to find an album of hers out there with the list of songs that is on it. Alternativly if you have a MP3 searcher and downloader you could use that!

Hope that helps!

The albums not out until at least April in Oz. MP3s of Delta are impossible to find (I've tried!)

Try

HMV Austrailia for info closer to the time. (None there yet)

So what's differerent about the Aussie ending then? More sponsors names like Ireland? And whats wrong with having universal closing credits, then a caption at the end with "Sponsored by Bogleapers Leprechaun Outfitters" or whatever in much the same way that Corrie has the little Cadbury's animations? Why waste time creating totally different credits?

For those who don't know the BBC have shortened the closing credits since the mid 90s because of their credit guidelines.

We have never had the sponsorship images because the BBC aren't allowed to advertise.

So sexy Sarah Beaumont is coming back then? Good!!! What's the betting she's played by some other girl, just like Tracy Barlow from Corrie! In fact, Sophie Webster and Bethany have also been changed in Corrie, and the producers think that we're too thick to notice. Well, we're not!
