Hey guys,

I've just been to comet and bought one of these boxes (GUSTB80IV), works fine, pluged it in, scanned, found all channels. DONE.

Great.

The guide is a little slow, and the channel order is in a right mess, i think thats down to DTT though rather than the box, would be great to be able to move things around.

Anyhow, the firmware/software version according to the box is 1.2(UK). After reading through a few threads am i right in thinking that this is the DigiHome PVR80? And that if i follow this guide (http://www.vwlowen.co.uk/vestel/update.htm) I'll be able to upgrade the software to this 4.9 version?

Any other suggestions/comments, please let me know.

Thanks

Michael

There is an over the air update planned for Sat, Sun, Mon, on the 3rd 4th and 5th of February if you don't want to risk the DIY approach, see here

Have a look for Vestel, but I don't know if this will include the Grundig box, v1.2 seems very old though.

Its not bad, Dave. But its far too cold to be going back out. I'll stick with this one for now. At least until i see if this OTA update applies to my box on the 3rd.

In other news, I've now cancelled and removed the Sky+ subscription/box.

No more sky!

Thanks for the help guys.

Regards,

Michael
