Hello All
I've been visiting these forums for a little while but I've recently found a problem. There are an awful lot of acronyms and abbreviations without explanation of what they are. One I know include: OD=On demand HD=High definition HC=homechoice fairly basic stuff but what about the others? LLU being just one. Please help me (and I'm sure others) out and define your acronyms please. Ems

PVR = Personal Video Recorder - Records TV to hard disc instead of magnetic tape (as video recorders do).
Recordings are usually scheduled using an Electronic Program Guide (EPG) For example using the on screen guide you get when you press the TV Guide button on your Homechoice remote you would just select the program you want, press OK and it would be added to your recording list. |
