Pioneer DVR 440HX-S Guideplus Problems

Hello!!!

I recently purchased the Pioneer DVR-440HX-S and followed and set it up to my Sky Digibox. I followed the instructions on set up and had downloaded the Guideplus EPG.

Everything was working fine for (approx 1 month), however the DVD recorder is now unable to download updates from the host channel (Eurosport UK Ch 410)

I went back into the set up and deleted all the settings and re-entered them, this however did not solve the problem, I then set up the host channel as Manual, and inputted the host channel number, unfortunately this did not solve the problem.

As a last resort i performed a reset on the system, by pressing stop on the front control panel and standby, and again input all the settings from scratch, hoping that this would solve the problem, however the problem still remains.

Please can anyone give me some guidance as to how I can get Guideplus working again.

Many Thanks in advance

Try unpulgging your sky box from the mains and then plug it back in. This should fix your problem.

How good is your analogue signal? As Guide+ is also sent out over Analogue ITV.

I presume the Digital EPG works? Personally I prefer it, the Guide+ menu is awful and only gets you channel icons plus channel preview. It annoys me they send advertising out over it.
