Does anyone know what the best deal is for free daytime and evening/weekend landline calls?

I was with Talk Talk then in October I went to Sky Talk for £5 a month as it was cheaper. But SKy messed me around with my Broadband (which I cancelled) and I'm annoyed that they are making me pay for calls to Customer Service to sort out 5 weeks of not having internet.

They gave me some compensation by letting me have an old sky box of mine installed for free and having the multi-room for that box free of charge for a year. But I still feel that all the stress of not having internet for 5 weeks should mean I don't have to pay for all the calls to Sky Customer Services.

Anyway, I've told SKy I want to cancel my Sky Talk but need to find someone else.

Talk Talk said they now only do packages where I would have to take my line rental away from BT and go with them, but as I have BT Broadband I don't want to do this.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thanks

Daniella

I totally agree with your aversion to moving your line rental from BT. IMHO, for (sometimes) a saving of £1 or so a month, it's not worth the possible hassle.

I don't know of any CPS packages which include totally free weekday daytime UK 01/02 calls - the ones I know of are 'inclusive' packages (i.e. your monthly fee pays for the 'free' calls).

I am aware of the following (there may be more):

Primus Saver Option 3 CPS package - £8.49/month inclusive of 24/7/365 UK 01/02 calls of up to 90 minutes (redial to avoid charges);

Euphony's euTalk+12 or 18 CPS packages - £7.25 or £5.99/month inclusive of 24/7/365 UK 01/02 calls and international calls to 28 specified countries - up to 60 minutes in each case - (redial to avoid charges).

There are a few more ways to make saving which you might want to consider too - see HERE.

Personally, I opt for the (no monthly fee) free weekend and evening UK 01/02 calls Primus Saver Option 2 CPS package and 18185 for my 6am to 6pm Monday to Friday 01/02 calls and all my calls to mobiles and Spain.
