Dancing on Ice Aus? Perhaps?

Would you watch Dancing on Ice Australia should ITV decide to show it at the end of the current UK series?

I know I'd like to see it, even if I don't know any of the celebrities, but then I'm against the unnecessary use of celebrities on this show anyway, I think they should have just used ordinary people who want to accomplish something.

Yes, I suppose I'd watch it but I doubt they'd show it. Also, I heard the DOI Oz wasn't as big as it was over here so I imagine it will up up in the air as to whether they'll do that again

I was thinking ITV2, if it wasn't very big over there it surely couldn't be very expensive?

Clips are available to download of Oz DOI. There won't be a second series, as although it was done well, and almost a carbon copy with costumes being flown over from UK DOI etc, it didn't get the required viewing figures for the amount of money channel 9 spent on it, and generally was panned by the critics. There's no culture of skating downunder. There were alot of serious injuries to the celebs too, with 2 having to pull out after the series had already started, funnily enough, both Pam and her fiance Jon's partners.

There were some lovely routines though, and a great Pro Dance to a Disco number.

I saw alot of it as I got a friend in Melbourne to record it for me.

Ooh, ooh pick me!

Decent idea, would remove predjudice votes too. Wouldn't draw the viewers in though.

We love T&D over here (in OZ they probably don't share that affinity) so T&D alone are enough to get the GBP to tune in. Add to that our love of celebs/reality TV/glitz/good music etc and it's a winning formula. I suppose winter sports are of no interest to aussies and T&D aren't enough for people to tune in

Oooh yes, I'd watch that.
