I think some homechoice customers have been given new boxes with tiscali branding on them and the epg etc etc, these are probably what they mean.

I was walking through soho the other day, I walked past this building and there was some people in a reception area who where messing around with homechoice. I though that's strange as you can't get homechoice in that area, and then I realised it was tiscali's head office building. I went back to have a look and sure enough it was tiscali branded.

The epg actually looks exatly the same as homechoice, it just says tiscali at the top when you go into the epg (where homechoice was before), then when you go into your guide it has the homechoice logo and your name.

Nothing more to say really as that is all I saw and it everything else about the epg was exactly the same as homechoice is now.

Interesting that they still seem to be using the homechioce logo for the product but not the homechoice name.

Also interesting that this was in an area that previously could not get homechoice, so the trial probably isnt just current homechoice users I think.

Not really if you think about it, since the current boxes/remotes don't say homechoice on them, just the square logo - tiscali won't have to get new boxes made for the "rebrand".

Where abouts was tiscali's head office? Might go for a nose m'self.

Edit: found it

Well there's a surprise .. the 'big rebrand' may yet turn out to be not much more than an ITV Digital style name change and nothing more.

ps I walked past the Tiscali building not so long ago - didn't think of having a peek around though, good thinking!

iSix, good point, didn't think of that. I dont actually have homechoice anymore as I moved and could not get the sevice at my new address, and so can't remeber what branding was on the box.

Most of the time they just have news 24 showing on the screen at tiscali's head office. I suppose I was just lucky to be passing by when I did. If ya walking by is worth a look though just in case.

I intend on going in and asking if I can have a play around with it, when I get chance.
