I do, I think she did the world a favour by ridding it of that cheating messed up scumbag Charlie Stubbs. And before you say 'do you condem murder' yes I do in this case he was a psycho and just because he didn't touch women didn't make him a good person.

Im 101% behind the 'Free Tracy campaign'

Bring back hanging just for the episode! I'm not a capital punishment fan, but I'll make an exception!

Hang, draw, quarter, put her in a barrel of boiling oil and keel-haul her.
Just to make sure she NEVER comes back .

i'm not especially a fan of the character, but I think if she gets off it sends out a negative message not only to real life psycho's who might try something similar, but it also does little to support the claims of real victims of domestic violence.

oh my, I am on a downer with corrie today!

Ironic comment from someone who obviously loves Grant Mitchell.

Bet you're just saying that to put us off the notion that you really like her!

You have an unfortunate screen name for someone with such sensible views!

Charlie was a great character, far better than Hillman or even Alan Bradley!

Defo want Tracy to get off!

Charlie was a very good character, but I've like Kate Ford from Day One and shes had some brilliant storylines. She's a major asset to the show, I just hope she goes out on top!

She cannot possibly get away with it. Despite everything, a man who is clubbed on the head with a blunt article like that doesn't go down and keep a knife in his hand, especially the way she put it there. This very fact which is irrefutable completely wrecks Tracy's defence. It sounded tonight like her solicitor was going to suggest pleading guilty to manslaughter.

Despite all this, the writers/producer will probably just do whatever they like anyway regardless of what would really happen.

Ah yes, but Tracy going down would be part of Shelley's revenge.

No, Charlie's got his, now it's time for Tracy to get hers and I for one will be most disappointed if she doesn't. In fact I may almost be disappointed enough to stop watching it altogether. Really.

If she gets off then it will give some people the message that this is all they have to do to kill someone and get off with it... i'm not sure how the storyline is going to go exactly but i'll be very surprised if she does get off with it.

Look at it from the point of view of the scriptwriters.

The simplest outcome is that she is found innocent, Ken gets his money back when they get costs, she gets to sell up the business and house and vanishes into the sunset with Amy. All neat and tidy, and free of dramatic impact.

There are two other scenarios that are filled with Teh Drama however.

Scenario the first:
She gets off but doesn't get costs. Her family pressure her to sell up the business and house to pay off the solicitor,
Spoiler
That leaves Tracey free, but skint, and her father destitute, he could take over Keith's paper round. She will disappear here to flee her debts. Possibly heads south with Peter for a new beginning (again).

Scenario the Second
She gets banged up for life. Which is no less than she deserves. Ken is destitute as above, Steve gets a custody battle with Deirdre for Amy which generates more Liz/Deirdre tension.
Spoiler

I'm all for her getting her just desserts, but either of the two are more likely than a happy ending.

I only want her to get off, in order for her to get her comeuppence (or whatever it's called!)

If she's not going to be taught a lesson here, then lock her up and throw the key away.

I for one won't miss her and that stupid grin of hers.

Nice theories and I like the" Tracey freee but destitute" scenario.

What I'd most like to see is Ken and Deirdre, now broke and mortgaged to the hilt but happy to have Tracey home, finding out that she is guilty and remorseless. I imagine that's the confrontation the scriptwriters would have most fun with.

So 20 years in chokey wouldn't be a lesson or comeuppance?

No, I don't think Tracy should get away with it!!

The murder was committed in such a clumsy way that I almost felt sorry for Charlie - and I'm now sick of her fake grin and lies!

I'd like to see her family and the entire street finally discover that he was killed in cold blood.
