Hi

Can someone help an old solider like me, as I'm hopeless with technology, and I'm finding the manual confusing..

Just bought the o2 ice, a few questions.

I'm on payg, how do I figure out my balance, on my phone?

Can I download free wallpaper or screen saver (whatever it's known as) to my phone, if so, how do I do that.

Can I download free ring tones?, if so, how do I do that.

Any assistance gratefully appreciated.

Balance: Type in "*#10#" then press call. You will recieve a text telling you how much credit you have.

Not sure about the others though...

Don't need to pay for any wallpaper, ringtones etc, just get them off the net with your PC then transfer them accros using the USB cable.

WoW, thans for replying, sounds just what I'm looking for.

BUT, if you have the time to explain, how do I go about doing that, which site do I go to for free music for example?

I understand about the USB cable, will it be straighforward to transfer, I'm afraid in case I mess something up

All the phones i have had act like a seperate drive so you can drag and drop the files accross from pc to the phones music/ringtone file. Make sure you install the software that came with the phone first though.

You can burn cd's that you and put them on, or Google for "MP3 sound clips" and you will find loads of free ones.

*edit*

If you need to shorten any this is a good program to use.

If your PAYG tariff includes free minutes each month then text BALANCE to 20202 and you'll recieve a text message telling you how many minutes you have left and when they expire.
