The Bill. It been a long time coming but this week things finally, got really good. The climax to this 6-month story was worth the wait.

The Bill had an awful 2006. As a viewer who never missed an episode I found the last 12 months very slow and boring. I was almost ready to give up on this show that I've watched since 1998.

Hopefully a corner has now been turned. Honey's shocking death was hard to watch. Zain and Kristen are repulsive characters and if there's any justice both will be caught and sentenced to a life in prison.

The Bill. 2007. A new start... hopefully!

I was devastated, Honey is one of the few characters left that I actually care about.

Zain was a good complex character why was he axed?

I hate most of the cast right know which doesn't help, Leela, Dan, Will, Emma, Lewis, Stuart, Neil, Terry, Rodger...

But tonights episode nearly had me in tears, especially after EE and E4 Hollyoaks. What a night for Drama

Agree. Honey was a very good character. The cast is fairly weak at the moment, but I now see some hope for the show!

I felt 2006 was the best year of the show for some time. I preferred the fact the show focused more on traditional crime stories and less on soapy content. I know the soapy content wasn't erased completely, but it was reduced.

Last night's episode was fantastic. One of the best I've seen for a while.

As for the cast, it's sad that Honey and Zain have gone. But there are plenty of other characters who are just as strong as they were.

Completely agreed. 2006 has been the best year since probably 2002/ Jonathon Young has done a great job turning The Bill back into a proper drama and removing the soap aspects that Paul Marquees infested The Bill with.

And that episode was fantastic. Wed's was a great one too. So dark and gritty. Eva's death was shocking and Honey's was completely unexpected and pretty horrible.

Another two thrilling episodes this week...

The Bill is defo back on top form. This storyline has bubbled away for months (and is probs the only thing thats kept The Bill afloat!) and these climax episodes are been excellently done by the whole cast!

They both surely need to be caught though! Having them escape wouldn't be the correct ending to this storyline...especially as Kristen murdered Honey!

The Bill is always really good at the large crime mysteries, that gradually develop - the way the clues are found, and how each CID officer helps out is always interesting to watch

Btw, i think the storyline about the guy's missing daughter needs to be concluded now...

The Bill is best with the CID investigations. It's the Uniform side that makes it very unrealsitic
