Was in my local Maplins in Belfast returning some stuff & noticed they had a stack of Techwood PVR 160GB in stock at £99.98. I bought one & though I haven't had the time yet to plug it in it is the usual digihome product with V4.9 s/w loaded (according to the stiker on the box). I opened the box when I got home & found that the platic bag was off the box & the remote had the batteries in it! The sticky plastic on the facia was still on & it had a rf fly lead & scart (but not neatly tied). I don't know if all of these are returns/refurbs - there certainly wasn't a mention of this anywhere but it looks brand new. Once I've powered it up I'll see if it seems OK.....
It is not as pretty as the Dual PVR but for less that £20 more it has the 160GB disk - I think that is pretty good value!
It doesn't seem to be listed on their website....
Just thought I'd let you guys have a heads up on this further alternative to Argos/Asda offerings!
