That remark is nothing but tacky

Don't forget the old saying - if you can't say anything nice don't bother saying anything at all.

I think this is lovely news. I would suspect that she must have found out round about mid - end November. I have never experienced tiredness like I did during the first 3 months of pregnancy so I'm amazed that Emma was able to continue to dance at all.

Best wishes to her and Jade.

I would have been so worried doing the american smooth if I had been her. I guess she would have been quite happy also to not have done the show dances as I know when I had my second and slipped down the stairs at 5/6 weeks I freaked. Tiredness she might have just started but you notice it more second time.

But this is DHR - boldly speaks his mind and if you wait long enough he will no doubt tell you not to get your knickers in a twist over his joke and ask why you care about his opinion when he doesn't care about yours. Kind of makes me wonder what the point of posting said opinions is, but that's just me.

LOL! Very very true! Some people just need a reaction to prove that they actually exist

Sorry, I'm just amazed at some of the sycophantic messages.

She's an unimportant "celebrity" nobody!

How long has SCD been finished?

I just came on to see whether the threads had been closed and when I read "She must have been in such pain"
Well I'm lost for words...

Paula Radcliffe was running a marathon in the early stages of her pregnancy.

How is saying congratulations to someone expecting a baby sycophantic!

If you announced you were to become a father/mother I would say the same to you and mean it!

I thought the pain remark was daft too, as daft as someone suggesting it was for publicity!

I's suggest that you need to think "ouside the box" on occasions.

And stop being so "protective" of people who wouldn't know you from Adam.

Victoria Beckham has been accused (in fun), that whenever she thinks she's not getting enough press attention, she announces she's going to have another child.

"Geddit?"

Do you think Emma Bunton actually looks at this board, or like most others who've appeared on SCD ever give ballroom dancing another thought?

It's just a well paid job for some with not much else on at the moment, but they will quickly move on to the next without so much of a backwards look.

It's life.

Well that reply makes no sense!

How am I being protective of Emma?, I had absolutely no time for her during SCD and if I could have sued the Spice Girls for destroying music I would of!

I couldn't give two hoots if Emma looks at this board I don't say congratulations hoping and praying that Emma will read it and have her life changed because I wish her well

I only replied replying to your comment (did you post it to get a reaction?) because I thought then it was tacky and still do

"Geddit"

You are quite at liberty to think what you like, I rarely quote other people's posts in my messages unless they include mine first.
I really don't care what they think.

Geddit?

There you go.

Now, where were we?

Slightly off topic, but can I recommend to everyone the pleasure of adding aggressive, ranting forumites to your "ignore" list.

It really does make the boards a nicer place to be!

I do with some posters but equally I think if someone if talking rubbish they should have people say sorry you're out of line and indeed wrong.

This user has a habit of continually repeating the same, boring drivel over and over again. This isn't the first time they've been banned and no doubt it won't be the last! The best way to treat them is to discourage them by completely ignoring them!

Don't agree again, sorry!

There are a few people on here I find genuinely offensive but not him/her (he/she once provided a penguin link so can't be all bad!) it was only that one post I had no time for

Totally agree - Don't Feed The Troll. If you starve 'em long enough, they might die

Great news for Emma, if she found out 6 weeks before the end of SCD then she must be a good 12 weeks gone now, which knowing her medical probs must be a huge relief and delight to her!

That's brilliant news for Emma and Jade.

I'm also amazed she did some of the dances while pregnant - the lifts and stuff must have been scary!

Different people have different physical reactions during pregnancy so there is every chance she was tired/uncomfortable/aching during SCD, and also a chance she was fine. My sister was in near complete bedrest during her first trimester and she has always been perfectly healthy, fit and no endomtriosis type problems either.

That doesn't sounds like much fun Shappy!

Bedrest is only fun when you don't feel ill, personally I enjoy a mild cold

Yes, I love my bedrest every night!

It wasn't much fun, she used to get so tired even if she was out for just an hour. She was working though, so the bedrest was just in the non-work hours - she just slept and went into work and did pretty much nothing else. Her hubby was very lonely/overworked for a while.

But the good news is my little ickle nephew is due to pop out any day soon and I can't wait.

Ah cool, good luck to Shappy's sister!

Have they chosen a name yet?
