It's funny to see Kirk in The Royle Family - He's playing exactly the same part as he does in Corrie!

It was the episode where Dave and Denise got married.

Of course! I caught a tiny snippet of him on Stars in their Eyes a few weeks back and was quite surprised - he sings much better than he speaks!

Yeah he's got a really good voice. And sounds completely different as you would expect him to.
I remember when Richard & Judy did 'This Morning' and him and his band came on and sung a song, I was totally blown away!!

can we get back to the subject in question....... and stop bickering children.. Peter marries Lucy..... but a few days into the honeymoon....... she discovers he has not told Shelly and is still phoning her......... and she WALKS OUT ON HIM.... vowing to bring up the baby on her own........ He slinks back to Shelly...... and she none the wiser about the wedding........ are we on course for a BIGAMY case in CORRIE...... great stuff if we are !!!!!!!!!

I got it wrong, it wasn't the wedding, it was the christening!!

Well I knew that Lucy was leaving for a while, I posted this on another thread I think.

I think that on the day of his wedding to Shelly, Lucy should come back and when the priest says 'if there is anyone here who knows ...... etc etc, then Lucy should walk in and say, 'I do, he's already married!"

Yes, I'd like to stop bickering children too. Unfortunately, children tend to do that a lot - they often only se one point of view (their own!) Come to think of it, it's not just children who behave like that!

Apparently, one of the characters (ie Lucy or Shelley) is due to leave for good in a few weeks time, so it looks is if this dreary (sorry, Dreary!) storyline will come to a welcome halt before too long.

PS - I'm sure you know where to look if you want to find out which one's leaving!!!

I know that the actress who plays Lucy is taking a few weeks off from Corrie, I don't think she is leaving though.
