Just a quick question, I recently rebooted my laptop and i have to re-install I Tunes when i do this and connect my Ipod upto the USB all my songs will be cleared because it gets updated, has anyone had this problem before? and do you know how to stop my songs from being deleted can anyone explain what tot do to stop this happening so i don't lose my music on my Ipod.

You need to go through all the options in itunes, more particularly you don't want itunes to manage your library or sync your ipod, you can manage that yourself otherwise everything that is added or removed from itunes will be replicated on your ipod whenever you connect to your pc, which is a problem if you have less spare hard drive space on your pc than you do on your ipod..
