Hope this isn't a duplicate thread
Daughter and I are having problems transferring WMAs onto our phones. Probably means we are both thick but here goes: her motorola V3i will sync with Media Player, the files transfer properly but then disappear into some sort of vortex on her phone never to be seen again. I assume they are there as corresponding amounts of phone memory disappear.

My phone (motorola KRAZR) won't sync with media player at all Motorola phone tools is completely useless with both phones.

Any suggestions gratefully received

Thats weird. Try a mp3 file see if it works. If it does then you're phone probably dont accept wma's. Also check though all the files for the songs. Sometimes the songs will go into the wrong folder.

Well if you look in the manual it will tell you the formats the phone supports; WMA isn't one of them.

You need to put MP3 tracks on the phone

itunes can do it, i've had problems in the past though with the files it's converted crashing my D600
if you don't want that, and i'll take a stab in the dark here by saying you ripped the music fae a CD yourself, you can change the import settings in WMP to rip mp3's instead of wma's
by going to Tools>Options...>Rip Music
and select mp3 from the drop down box

then, unfortunately you'll need to rip the music from the CD(s) all over again

other than those you'll have to either google or wait for somone elses suggestions

EDIT: actually, this link should help you out
