Be honest ....... do you vote for the Celebrity or the Professsional?

I'll be honest sod the celeb - Matt, Daniel and Frank get my vote just to keep them in! phworr!!!!!!

I don't get as attached to the DOI pros as I do to the SCD ones!!! I love Kristina and Dan though, so I want them to stay even though I don't like their celebs.

Kyran's my fave!

I've not voted yet but if I do it will be for Kyran so I vote celeb which is very odd as on SCD I vote for the pro!Brendan cost me a lot during SCD4 which is why I'm exercising self control and not voting yet...

The pros! I was gutted when Pam left. And my favourite now is Matt. I do like it when there is a good partnership though, if the celebrity doesn't do fairly well it just doesn't look like a well matched team.

The celebs get my vote - we know the pros can skate. It's watching the celebs to see how they do that I watch!

The pros don't get enough coverage or focus if you ask me, they work hard too!

As it happens I don't vote, as yet I don't have a favourite.

I don't vote very often on DOI, but so far I've always supported the celeb. (Same as I do on SCD I've just realised.)

I admit I do want to keep Lisa and Stephen in the competition because I like Matt and Kristina.

I vote to keep Duncan in- I love him but, also think Maria's good as well

The celebs of course! I'd never vote for a pro just for being good at what they're meant to be good at (or for reasons more trivial than that). It's supposed to be about seeing how well a newcomer to skating develops, so I can't see the point of blindly voting for the same pro every week/year, whatever happens on the ice. Seems like a waste of money to me.

If you enjoy watching someone what's wrong with spending your money so you get to see more of them? Not that I vote at all, I refuse to give ITV money.

I guess I just think it's against the spirit of the competition and makes the efforts and varying talents of the celebs rather meaningless.
The logical outcome of simply voting for whoever you like watching, rather than for your idea of the 'best' performer, is for TV channels to stick a premium-rate line at the start of every programme saying - "What do you want to watch next? Vote "Cruise" for Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire; Vote "Hanks" for Tom Hanks in Philadelphia; vote "Streep" for Meryl Streep in Sophie's Choice or vote "Lovelace" for Linda Lovelace in Deep Throat.
Come to think of it, it's not all that unlikely...

In answer to your question, MidZone, it depends which couple I'm voting for.(So who is left in the competition by the time I reach for my phone ) For example, I would vote to save Lisa & Matt (although I can't stand Lisa) simply because I adore Matt (shallow? moi? ). Again, I would vote to save Stephen and Kristina, because I think Kristina is lovely, she always seems to come across really sweet and nice (but TBF I don't mind Stephen).
I would vote to save Lee because I fancy him, not because I think he's a good skater (although he could become the dark horse...?).
But, ultimately, I would vote for Clare, because she is my favourite celeb, she's nice, and she's the best IMO, therefore she's worthy of my 50p. (Not that Lee Sharpe and Matt Evers arn't of course........)

I also like Kristina and Dan although I think they will go out before the final as imo they don't have the best partners this year.

Dan comes across as particularly caring and a very likeable guy.

Matt is also hot and stands a chance with Lisa but Clare is by far the best - doesn't mean she will win as probably the Boyzone fans will make sure poor Stephen hangs in there - he doesn't look too confident though.

For the celebs I also like Duncan and Kyran and I think Pavel is sweet - did you see his little daughter on Defrosted - shame he has to have Ulrika .

I don't know much about pro skating - so most of the names meant nothing to me - but that was the same with SCD, it took me a couple of series to get attached to any of the pros

I do like the pros- Matt, Kristina and Dan- especially Matt but I also think Lisa deserves to be there, she did brilliant this week, looks like Matt really pushed her and it paid off, I also think she comes across as really nice ( I never used to rate her much either, but I like her now)!!

Matt, Fred, Lee, Kyran, Duncan all need to stay in for the same reason. eye-candy.

and i have a soft spot for Andrei as well...

Pros - Matt, Kristina and Dan

I'd have liked to have seen Kristina paired up with Duncan and Matt with Clare!
