Clarins stuff is amazing but not cheap.

When I was a teenager I suffered badly from greasy skin and spots and used to use all the things that were recommended at the time like clearisil, avon cleansers and toners and other cleansers that were adverised but can't remember names of now that seemed clinical and expensive but were the things to buy at the time

We went on a camping holiday one year and I forgot to pack my toiletry bag so had to borrow some camay soap for face washing instead and the difference was unbelievable. Lovely soft, ungreasy, and in a few days spotless skin.

Although not for everyone, sometimes the humble and much cheaper bar of soap can be overlooked
