Found this useful as I didn't know Topup TV had put new postings on lately, so enjoyed reading through these links.

Half the things they say they are fixing, i've not got a clue what they are, ha ha, it sounds good though and hope its sorts people's problems out!!! Will they be fixing the 'swap' button on the remote as it annoys me you cannot just got back to previous channel you watched.

Just checked out the picturebox lineup for Feb. It looks a lot better. I opted out of it coz it looked the same as ITV2. Maybe they can get me back if the March lineup looks just as good.

Is it my computer or has that site never been updated since launch? I have tried "refresh" but still get the same films line up.

Unless they decide to sticky this thread its just going to be buried anyway. Until they do, only adding to this thread will keep it visible.

psionic, did you hit the alert button on your initial post?

I find it's the best way to bring it to the mods attention, just tell them to make it a sticky.

Shame it's already messed up!

Although maybe they can fix that too.

I contacted forumsupport, and my request was acknowledged but nothing happened. Didn't want to hit alert as that is apparently supposed to be for reporting abuse.

I have tried using forum support, but it never worked.

I use the Alert button when I want to start a poll, I have never been told not to do so.

But as you say it clearly says it is for reporting bad posts.

I know it's important though so..

We're pretty convinced that this is a symptom of another underlying low level problem that we're addressing. In our - limited at this stage - experience of the new build it's much better.

I'm sorry not to have anything more conclusive to say - other than that I don't think it's specific to anyones hardware and I'd be interested to hear news of how often you see it and whether (after the next download) you agree that this has improved.

Another thing I unwittingly left out was news of a change I think you'll be happy to see. We have implemented a proper 'Back' procedure in the record booking process. So, if you go forward in the EPG to record a programme, pressing 'Back' after confirming the booking takes you back to where you were in the EPG. Pressing 'Guide' still takes you back to the current time and date.

Best wishes,

Simon Dore

Thanks for this thread, there is some stuff in it that has made me thing twice about the service in that people are actually working on making it work, i know they are but it is nice to see the people involved openly talking about it.
