My mother told me that she'd heard another actress was gonna play her?!

Which I don't believe...

I read a while ago that tracy and her daughter were leaving
if tracy went to prison surely the little girl would live with steve
but tracy can not get away with murder it sets a bad example

They've filmed two endings for Tracy, she'll either be found not guilty of Charlie's murder and leave with a new life for Amy or she does a runner..i'm not quite sure.. or she is found guilty in court and goes to prison for murder.

Personally, i predict that she will go to prison for Charlie's murder.

I hope she goes down for murder, otherwise it would be saying - 'if your boyfriend cheats on you it is perfectly fine to kill him, nobody will care' and that isn't the message that corrie want to portray.

You've mentioned THREE possibly endings, not two. They'll only do one ending, (she hasn't finished filming yet!) they only EVER do one ending, otherwise they have to do every subsequent episode twice (or three times in this case!) - one where they talk about her getting off, one where they talk about her going down, one where they talk a bout her doing a runner - til they decide which version to use!

Regardless of what you read, in real terms they only ever film one version. A soap actor said such a thing once on This Morning. Never believe otherwise, they said, it's just to hype it up to the press. Corrie have no time for rehearsals these days, so they certainly have no time or money to waste on episodes that will never be shown.

They might have done it 15 years ago when they only had 2 episodes a week to get out and had rehearsals, they might have done a 'guilty and 'not guilty' episode to put one day on a Corrie DVD as a rarity (as Brookie did with the Jordache trial verdict) but not with 5 episodes a week to get out.

Not exactly. Coronation Street has said that this story is about one manipulating, spiteful and selfish individual - Tracey. They're not sending this message out to say it's OK to kill your boyfriend, they are just showing how coniving Tracey is.

I predict she will go to prison. There will be about a 6 month gap and then she will die of kidney failure (remember she has one of Samirs). It will be like Beth's death in Brookie, the viewer will see nothing and a cop will just show up at the Barlows.
I believe they are leading up to this as the fact that Tracy has a dodgy kidney was mentioned for the first time in years.
Could be wrong but have a feeling I'm not.

They've got to send Tracy down. It just wouldn't be right to see her get away with this. I'd like everybody to find out that she planned the whole thing!

I hope she gets away with it! I think Tracy is great and it would be a fantastic exit - a superbitch to the end!

A bad example?! You'd have to be a MORON to think "killing my boyfriend is ok coz Corrie did it"

Disclaimer: If you are feeling influenced by Tracy's actions and believe them to be acceptable in a real life situation, you are clearly too bloody stupid to own a television. Please switch off your television, and go outside and play.

Yes...and these people would have to be utterly and ridiculously stupid, dont you think? Do we really have to cater to this minority?! What a sad, sorry state of affairs.

Can you imagine somebody at the police station being questioned?

Police: Why did you kill him?
Person: Tracy Barlow did it, so why shouldn't I!!!

Hmmmm, I do happen to think that soap operas have a lot more influence than you would imagine. Not maybe with a storyline of this magnitude, but for minor day to day decisions. I bet there's someone out there who has had an affair/stolen something/had a termination because they have been reassured that it is normal day to day life events (which it is), but what I mean is, they may have been influenced by the character doing it. (if they can do it and be ok, I can do it).

Kate Ford is leaving, but the Tracy character is staying there were leaks that the Corrie folk were screening for a new Tracy Barlow.

Good. They should have done this ages ago. Kate Ford is dreadful.

Regardless of whether she stays or goes to be true to life they are going to have to revisit the kidney problem as transplanted kidneys do not usually last forever. Plus she doesn't appear to suffer from any health problems whatsoever.

They will want to leave the option for Kate Ford to come back one day. If she gets sent down for life that won't happen.

Maybe 5 years for manslaughter - out on a tag for good behaviour after 2. Therefore back in Corrie in a couple of years once the work runs out!
