Fantastic actor? or not acting at all and is as much a little S**t in real life as he is in the programme.

Has anyone seen him out of Corrie? Met him perhaps? Seen other footage maybe?

I seem to remember seeing him on some Platt family album programme or something, but I don't really remember what he was like.

I think he is a really good actor. Can you really think he could be anything like the twisted David Platt in real life?

I've seen a few interviews with him and he comes across as a very nice young man

I bet he had a good laugh filming the bath head-dunking scene. Also, the Christmas dinnertable.

Jack Shepherd is a terrific young actor, very convincing for a soap character!! His facial expressions give me the chills!! Other than that, David Platt needs a clip round the ear!!!
superb character development and well acted..for a soap!

I wish him the best and I think he has a great future providing he has a good agent and the right amount of support.

Well done Jack!

He's an amazing actor with the chilling looks, slappable coments and un-nerving attitude, but the actor is very nice and very funny. In interviews he's said he's nothing like David, and he is bad "through David" !!!

I think Jack.P.Shepherd is one of the best young actors ever seen in soap!!!

I suppose it is, but we know Kate Ford's quite nice really, and Cilla talks really posh in real life, so they've been covered. I just wondered. You don't really see a lot of him off the programme do you, which was why I wondered!

'been covered'?
Yeah 'cos Kate Ford doesn't try to hit people with statues in real life, and Wendi Peters isn't always on the look out for compo......

Only time I've seen him on tv was on Loose Women.
And he seemed like a 'normal person' although a bit shy

Not all actors are Shane Ritchie or Dean Gaffney

Hey Guys,

I went to Stage school with him for 2 years, and i've done quite a few shows with him. He's nothing like that for real, hes very outgoing and funny, very friendly and quite modest really. His mums a great laugh too.

Still in contact with him now an then, went to his birthday bash last year.

As for the agent well i think he's got a new one now, as the old one was the same as mine and well...........what a character.

Darren tell him he is doing a brilliant job - I've personally wanted to give his character a good slap for quite a few years which shows how well he is portraying the part. I know if my son had been like that when he said at Christmas "well I'll move out then" I think my reply would have been: "Bye then don't forget to leave your keys!" I'll bet there are loads of people throughout the country who feel the same too. Well done to him.

I hate him too. It is great how the writers have turned him into what can only be called a 'future psycco'

The fact that he has a broad Yorkshire accent bugs me. He is supposed to have lived in Weatherfield all of his life!

Rather that than when he tried a Manc accent
It was a bit like the Kevin & Perry sketch.
I was waiting for him to start saying 'sorted' every other sentence.
Although he could take lessons from Liam

David is one of the funniest and best characters in Corrie.
But Kirk, Chesney, Steve and Fizz are fab too.

If you can't tell that he's acting, then he is doing a brilliant job. I love the actor and his portrayal, he's very talented.
