We've had all the gossip on what happens next and whether Martin and Sonia will go off together but have not heard anything about Joe, does he die after his fall?

Anyone else see the irony of Pauline dying as a result of being hit with a frying pan, considering she nearly finished off Arthur with one a few years ago. It was one of her best scenes ever.

Pity they never had a flash back of it happening when Joe was confessing all to Dot. Maybe they wanted too but Wendy Richard said no to doing that.

Yes I was just saying that to my girlfriend yesterday, wonder if it's the same frying pan? What with Mo hitting Trevor with her iron and Chrissie finishing off Den with her doorstop the Fowler house has supplied some unlikely weapons over the years! Also thought that Martin smashing up the living room was a nice nod to the classic scene of Arthur's breakdown all those yars ago.

It was the most unrealistic, pathetic death Eastenders have ever had

apparently, if you have a little arguement with Dot Cotton, a mystical power will sweep you off your feet and you will crash through a window and fall into a market stall

Well Jim pushed him and he fell into the drawers which tripped him up and he fell further backwards.

the window still shouldn't've broken! Even if it wasn't double glazed it should have been able to take the weight of an old man that tripped over

I can't believe there was no mention of Bert in this episode and how he felt about Joe's death. After all he did only come to WAlford because Joe was there.

And how come there isn't a police inquiry into Joe's death? After all, he did fall through a window after Jim pushing him. And now Joe is dead, surely there is no proof that he killed Pauline. The police have only got Dot's word for it. Big whopping details have been brushed under the carpet.

See I thought Dot rang the police, but had the mobile wrestled from her, so she threw it on the bed with the phone connected if that makes sense!

Seriously, this had to be the most stupid death Eastenders has had, Joe's death certainly didn't live up to the hype

Its a ridiculous story that ended so badly. I actually hardly watch EE anymore because ALL the current story lines are so desparate.

Have I missed something, or has nobody even mentioned Joe since he fell out the window. Maybe I missed an episode.
Also did Pat know Shirley years ago, seems like if she did then they would have had had common interests, (drinking and shxxxxxg about)

Dead?

But it was only a little fall and his fall was broken by whatever was below the window.

I missed the first ten minutes of Monday's episode and what I saw made no sense at all.

I saw Joe fall through the window on Friday, after confessing all to Dot. But it seemed that in the half episode that I missed Joe's body was discovered, Pauline's death was officially pinned on him, Sonia was acquitted AND her and Martin were already back together. In ten minutes? Really?

Also - the idea is that Joe hit her with a frying pan. First of all, didn't we see Pauline hit him with a frying pan?! And second of all, if he did hit her with a frying pan and Sonia hit her with a fruitbowl, how do we know it was Joe's blow that killed her?
