I never thought i say but yes Eastenders is the most boring telly soap on the soap at the moment for me, even Hollyocks is better then EE at the moment.

Either the script writers are asleep or they are pissed because EE is all about love triangles at the moment. All this love, sex and babies is making EE cringe worthy telly. Someone on the pure soap website rightly said that ee has turned into 'Snore-Enders'. Yes guys forget 'Bore-A-nation' the new thing at the moment is 'Snore-Enders'.

Louise Berridge(exec producer) and the script writers have tp clean up their lazy act quickly because EE is losing viewers, only 10 million watched last firdays episode according to the Guardian and Corrie got around 14 million!

Before if i missed even one minute of Eastenders i used to kick my slef silly. But now i could miss a whole weeks worth of EE and wouldn't give a piss:yawn: . Thats how boring its become.

Corrie on the other hand has totally surprised me. Corrie has now become un-missable soap tv. I am not a fan of Corrie because i thought it was all about old boring people but now it is great telly. Corrie is everything EE used to be, and no doudt Corrie will sweep the boards this year and win nearly everything.

Maybe i am being a little bit harsh on EE but it is really boring. I am not watching EE out of enjoyment anymore i am watching it out of habit . Okay i do understand that Soaps do go through so called bad phases but hey come on soaps are entertainment and we the viewer expect entertainment and if it doesn't deliver then we switch off.

If EE carrys on the way its going, not only will it lose ratings but it could turn into Brookside...........meaning the axe!!!!!!

EE needs to put the effort in like Corrie is doing.

It's so obvious, your London Person!! Well anyways - I'm soap guru and I totally agree. "Snore-enders" is totally dull, boring, and on the whole nearly unwatchable. It's worse than the worst and all the affairs, secret clinches, and pensioner fights going on are pathetic. And with the death toll higher than Midsomer, they'll probably be no one left by 2030. SnoreEnders will continue to sink like Titanic over the next two years while Corrie goes from strength to strength. I actually do think Corrie will get at least 20M viewers tonight. Dont you agree London Lala?

Eastenders just makes me change channel, Coronation Street is miles better, and so is Brookside, and thats saying somthing!

Emmerdale's a bit good at the moment too! At least it was last week, with Terry getting it together with Bob's daughter. Classic. Eastenders is dull, dull, dull. Offhand I can't even remember what happened last night - except it interrupted Corrie! Still, gave me chance to go to the loo and make a cup of tea.

to be fair though every soap goes through a transitional period just wait til lauras kid is born that aint too far off is it

yeah it has gone really boring right now! I don't know anyone who actually cares what happens to robbie jackson, jim and dot! also getting bored of the natalie and ricky affair. not one good thing is happening in EE right now

Wasn't he cringe-worthy last night? I could hardly bear to watch - even if his wife WASN'T playing away. How on earth did he and Natalie get together? Why didn't he hold out for somebody as soppy as he is? Pat was right - he's a pillock.

Pat's in for a rough time of it - Natalie leaving Barry and then Roy having a heart attack. It will just be her and Barry together - eek!

This whole barry and nathalie is doing my head in and why do they still live with that hooker pat and roy who is going to die meaning pat will be crying for a month i would rather live with the slaters.

At the rate Louise Berridge is going, the whole cast will be dead and buried by Christmas.

So many deaths and departures, the show is turning into a farce.

I think it odd that they wrote Jamie, Robbie and Nita out because their 'characters story had come to a natural end'. I mean how many stories can you write for Dot? Pauline? Derek?

Dot wakes up, makes a bowl of batchelors soup and then feeds the budgie.

Pauline trots over to the laundrette and does half a dozen service washes before trotting back home and making a nice cappa teeee. Sits and watches tv all night with the over-exciting Derek.

Paul Truman and Annanee are rather dull too. Nothing ever happens to them. Same old thing. Paul sits in the Vic with his fag behind his ear making 'wise' cracks to barmaids, Annnanee looks sheepish and apologises in case the action of his lungs drawing air is offending anyone.

Don't you think it makes it more boring if there are no surprises anymore? We all know the future storylines anyway!

Affairs, love triangles and sex aren't really surprises aren't they?

Eastenders has been going downhill for a long time. Bad storylines recently - Zoe/Kat/Antony (boring and unbelievable), Mark's pathetic exit, Doris/Jim/Dot triangle Martin killing Jamie storyline has lost all steam, Natalie and Ricky - again , Phil buying Laura the cafe, paying for Billy and Mo's honeymoon and wedding and Jamie's lavish funeral - how unbelievable was that!!, Vicky -pointless (send her back to America unless Michelle is brought back), Janine, Paul and Sharon pop up say a few lines and then disappear for several episodes. Lowest point - Dot's one off flashback to Wales episode!

Saving graces - Alfie (totally underused though), and Phil's policewoman girlfriend might turn out to be a good storyline.

I still watch it on/off but Corrie is wiping the floor with it now. I don't think it will be axed like one of the other posts, but it needs to improve fast!

Oh the fickleness of soap fans....its quite funny really!

How long will it be before Corrie has a lull and EE is producing better stuff and everyone starts saying 'Oh Corrie is rubbish at the moment, and EE is so good!' Pass the bucket! !

It would be impossible (plus completely unbelievable) for ANY soap to keep going with top storylines constantly...

and when something happens like Kat discovering that she's pregnant, every single person who she speaks to that day mentions babies.

Laura has morning sickness and just by coincidence, Jim walks in and orders the fattest greasiest breakfast ever in his life. Lynn says 'I'm SICK of Gary, he makes me wanna throw up'
