Nice to hear that Platov isn't trying to change their quirky style which is what attracts alot of fans.

I hope you don't mind, I'd like to quote your post on their forum, as others will be interested who didn't see the interview.
No I don't mind at all. I only need to make some changes in it. Too many typing mistakes
Ooops I can't edit that post now. Anyway it's previous coach not precious and not to work to share but to 'share' thier coach.

That's their Freedance this season to Last of The Mohicans.
It would be nice to be able to tell what the skaters are doing other than 'whizzing around!'

I think that'd be a good feature for when Extra starts. Tony Gubba usually calls the lifts and tricks on the live show but a breakdown of some of the basic elements (edges, progressives, turns, etc) would add an extra level.

Tony Gubba looks really old! I only saw a picture of him the other day, I only thought he was in his 30s/40s. After his comments on the female pros I can't help but think he's a dirty old man now! I find the after routine commentary a bit pointless really.

When does Extra start?

I don't know, it started pretty late last time but it was a last minute replacement for something else (Paul O'Grady maybe? dunno). Yeh some of Gubba's terminology is a bit esoteric - I'm convinced the "horizontal layout" lift he commented on in Ulrika's first routine was called a "pendant" lift last year... Maybe he thought it more (or maybe less) appropriate

No problems babysquirrel, I already edited the typos just to make it clearer before posting! Thanks again.

no mention on Saturday 3rd again. Maybe the Kerrs are an illusion, or the only successful UK skaters are already on the programme (apart from Joanne Conway - for some reason Smudges Mum calles her "frosty bum") and don't wany thier glory dimming.

Instead of moaning, why don't you support them? Have you booked your tickets for Sheffield yet on Feb 10th?
They're very busy skating in Art On Ice all over Switzerland, so no need for you to worry smudge's Dad......oh, and smudge's mum obviously reads the internet forums where Joanne Conway has been christened *frosty bum*, cos that's what she frequently had when most of us saw her skate.....even in the Ghostbusters Pantomime at Lee Valley, Christmas 1990 I seem to remember....
