... Well, not literally, I suppose; but she's really getting on my nerves. For weeks she's been treating the pub as though it's her property, dictating what does and doesn't happen there. I'm not surprised Val gave her a gob full tonight. It's long overdue. Also she'll be no good in the police if she can't control that temper

I dislike her.

They are trying to make her a young Viv.

Does she? I thought she'd have had to have gone to some training Academy or something...in fact i had totally forgotten she was training for the Police

Totally agree. I like Donna, but this storyline is daft!

Why on earth would the owner of a pub allow the partner of an employee to not only to foster four kids there, but dictate what she can't do there and then go mental when challenged in any way!

She doesn't even work there!

I don't think there is a huge training thing to be a Special, I would have thought she would have been ages ago. After all Debbie is a qualified mechanic and she started after Donna.

Its so unrealistic if I was Val I wouldn't have stood for it, or for Diane telling me where I can and cannot go in my own pub... I feel sorry for her...

You are right Pablo, there isn't a lot of training to be a Special ... and Donna has been doing her training on a part time basis (which you can do). It's been about 6 months or so, so in theory it's about time she passed out.

As for the storyline with the kids, well thank goodness

Does Donna not realise its Val and Dianes pub? Does this really happen in real life? No. Loved Vals comebacks-Donnas face...and the thing about "lucky vic" Brilliant! Vals a legend! AND DONNA says something like this is the only good thing to happen in my life so billy hopwood came back to the village....OHHHH LIKE LESS THAN A WHOLE WEEK!!! Poor you!

Well Donna and Marlon do live there and pay rent, so in that effect they should have their own private living area.

Sorry to appear to be going senile and I must be wrong as it's your backyard and all that PC Picasso, but wasn't she considering deferring a place on the course only a few weeks ago?

If I am wrong it must be the PTSS medication I'm on since the murder! Don't call the force trick cyclists PLEASE!

what confuses me about the back room in the pub is the fact anyone can walk in. If Donna and Marlon pay rent then its reasonable noto to expect your landlady walk in every 5 minutes for a fag and a cup of tea, in fact its illegal. A landlord cannot just enter property you are renting when they feel like it, except to collect rent, do a monthly inspection or do repairs. If Donna and Marlon had a clause in the contract that lets tom, dick and harry walk around the place then its tough luck Donna isnt it?

i agree lol.

it's not her pub, and she's telling the LANDLADY to stay out and quit smoking? that's not right at all.

i'm on val's side with this (and lmao @ val yesterday).

Specials don't go to Police College. They do their training at the station and on the beat.

She was going to defer it, and she told the sergeant, but Marlon persuaded her to change her mind.

But isn't that the only living room? If you rented out a room to someone in your house you'd be pretty miffed if they wanted you out of the lounge, wouldn't you

LOL at Norm with his senile comments.

Donna did defer her place on the course, but decided to re-apply after loosing the kids, and amazingly she got her place back and went on the course!
