.... why did Vicki and Rebecca get 10% but little grandson Mark get zero.

Is it because he's Grant's son or has that never come out??

Yeah, she does know, Martin told her just before Christmas during one of their arguments. Pauline was going on about Martin been ungreateful etc and he then mentioned about Michelle and Mark jr and that is when she told her Grant was his father.

Is this kind of will enforceable ? Are Dot and Jim under investigation for Joe's death, and why are the police taking their word for Sonia's innocence ?

Yeah that Mark thing entered my mind. Maybe it's only grandaughters that deserve money?? according to the world of Pauline.

Vicki's dad is Dirty Den. Is Grant worse?! I don't think so. It is quite strange.

It looked to me like they had jumped at least a couple of days so I guess you have to read between the lines.

I for one am glad they didn't drag this part out...it was quick which is a relief.

They could contest the will if they could prove Pauline was a nut case.

Well although a person making a will can choose whatever they want whether people like it or not , it can only really be contested if it is believe dthe person was tricked or misled when making it , or if their is a person who was dependant on that person who is not included .

But in this case , I think it would be quite easy, the caveat added would have a date, and surely the answerphone message from Pauline to Martin would prove that she had changed her mind about things after that date and wanted reconciliation . Therefore I would have thought that any such contest would likely be allowed based on that message.

Also , they could if they wanted to, be a bit sneaky and claim that Joe had influenced Pauline against Sonia and that as Jo had killed Pauline etc etc it is obvious he thought he would get her money, and as Joe is dead who can argue with that , and I am sure a few people would back themn up, and any Judge worth his salt would not really want to endorse such a petty will . Worth a try, in soapland surely !

That's exactly what I'd do, sell up and go and buy a house elsewhere!

Why would he want to stay there anyway after all the misery and anquish hes seen there over the years. There are few people Martins age who actually want to stay in the house they were born in, I think Eastenders producers like to think its th 1950's still!

Martin owned half, in last nights episode the solicitor said Pauline left her "half" of the house to martin. I think Sonia no longer owns any of it following the divorce.

Yes I was surprised they left Mark out.

She could have left something (such as Lou's old wedding ring) or some of her famous props to Ian & Dot, for old times sake!!

I'm still appalled of the lack of mention of Kenny Beale & Doctor Legg, not to mention Auntie Nellie, Auntie Betty & Derek Harkinson - EastEnders aint like it used to be

Derek could have returned for the funeral or at the very least they could have said why he didnt come, and are we too assume Auntie Nellie has died but it wasnt mentioned on screen?

Its simple. The scriptwriters forgot about him. They are always making mistakes on EE. Remember the irish sister fiasco?

If the producers can't get the actors to come back for an episode or two there's nothing they can do about missing characters.
