But this was a newspaper headline. They always over hype things.

He deliberately hit her over the head with a frying pan...how is that manslaughter?

But didn't SOnia smash Pauline with the fruit bowl? Surely that contributed to her death mroe than a frying pan.

No Sonia gave her the mother of all slaps, sent Pauline flying and she knocked the fruitbowl off the table in the process.

Edited to say....if you are gonna hit someone with a frying pan you have to know the chances are you are gonna kill or seriously injure them. Strange question.

Ah okay. Well Pauline was happy to smack Arthur with the frying pan - please let it be the same one - so perhaps she deserved it

She hit him on the head with a frying pan? Did she hospitalise him?

years ago rysen i think its when she found out about his affair with Mrs Hewitt. My failing memory tells me that she cut his head though im not 100% maybe someone else can clarify this

I missed this.

The frying pan then is poetic justice.

Yeah it is really lol. I wonder if arthur is up there clapping his hands. Do you think they will have a bench for pauline as well.

Can't they just stick her name on Arthurs.

Did anyone notice that Martin said something strange in yesterdays episode?

I thought last night's episode was rubbish, but to be fair EE doesn't always move in real time.

A few weeks ago we had almost an entire week's worth of episodes that portrayed the events of just one night. So it's understandable that we've now jumped forward a couple of weeks in the space of one episode. I admit that it's a bit confusing for the viewer though.

The most extreme example of a soap doing this (that I can remember) is when Daphne died in Neighbours. One episode we saw Des crying over her tragic death, the next epsiode there was a caption at the bottom of the screen saying "Two months later" and Des and Mike seemed to be pretty much over it! Well that's how I remember it anyway

I have to say although I stuck it out until 8.30 it was a pretty dull episode, and too be honest even after the "shock" revelation of Kevin last night I think tonights might be pretty lame as well.

Well you both missed something that I found strange. Very strange.

Not saying though cos I seem to have been wrong alot lately. If I'm right it will be obvious soon.

Do you mean the fact that they just brushed Joe under the carpet like Friday never happened?
