i am currently using a NTL D4100 phone on a BT landline, for the past year we have had no problems, until the last two days the cordless telephones don't seem to work whatsoever.

I can't make outgoing calls , can't recieve incoming calls and can't even retrieve my messages.

The only way i have found a temporary solution is to completely disconnect the phones base unit from the line and from the plug socket, and then reconnect to the phone line and plug back into the mains, and then it works for about 8-10 hours

before asking i have already tried everything in the manuel and its not the phone line or the mains line
