I too can't wait until Stella comes back & teaches that little sh!t a bloody good lesson. I'm sure my mum wouldn't have taken my world over a grown adult when I was 10.

I'm glad there was a slight twist in the Wicks story in that Deano & Carly have two different fathers. I felt quite sorry for her tonight, though. Linda Henry was the only person in the storyline who was a powerful enough actor to make it interesting, although Kevin was quite good too. Wish Deano had topped himself. He's obviously not mature enough to handle adult problems.

Hurry up & leave Martin & Sonia.

I don't understand why Deano's acting like he's not related to Carly & Jimbo at all
I know he's only their half-brother, but he's still a sibling.

Anyway, aside from a few OTT facial expressions that was probably Deano's best performance yet.

I also feel like Linda Henry has finally committed to the role of Shirley. I previously didn't feel like she was convincing in portraying any real emotions towards her onscreen kids, but she was quite good when she cried out as her locket was broken

LOL at Ian obviously wanting the house for himself

Good performance by Martin

I was expecting Stella to give Ben one of her psychotic looks as she walked away from the Vic, but she actually looked quite hurt

The Deano/Kevin/Shirley/Carly storyline is stupid....None of them seem realistic, Kevin saying'oh its the worse kind of secret you can imagine' NO its not.....its feeble....Now if Kevin had been in prison for murder or something when Shirley conceived the kids then it would be 'BIG' EE Writers need sacking, they come up with potentially good storylines but can't follow them through. The whole Ben/Stella saga will build and build making us think something shocking is going to happen when in fact it will fizzle away, Ben will put a plastic spider in her shoe or something and that'll be the final straw Stella will leave for good!

Its not going to be an anti climax. Its being lined up to be their biggest storyline of the year.

Actually, imagine having everything you thought was real in your life turned upside and you found out it was all a lie - it IS the worst kind of lie you can imagine.

Also, I think you'll find it's a much more common scenario in a family then you would imagine. At last, Eastenders shows it's committed to realism. Good job!

Have you read the spoilers that are available on here? It's going to be huge. I won't ruin it for you but it is potentially going to be the most explosive storyline that EEs have ever tackled.

I'm not normally in support of EEs after all the plastic gangster rubbish of the last few years but they are blowing the other soaps out of the water with what I've seen recently.

See, who said a Corrie fan can't be fair!

Oh I'm positive that EEs will pad out the rest of the year with 'something' but this is going to be the biggy. I don't think the Producers would take on such a topic without seeing it through properly.

I'm surprised that Stella stayed around for as long as she did. Ben's a real little sod. Okay I know that kids always or nearly always rebel about parents new partners but this is just boring.
There is a place for realism, and there is a place for entertainment. I was waiting for Phil or Peggy to look at Ben and believe that he is capable of doing that. Ben getting away with everything is just boring and a waste of time when theres good storylines that could be carrying on.

As Martin was walking around with the box of ashes I had the most perculiar thought. Theres a very good reason for being buried or having your ashes scattered. Just think what would happen if the house catched fire again. you'd really be gone for good then. What would you grab first, the photo albums or your mothers ashes. I was waiting for him to get really frustrated with what she'd done from beyond the grave and to just throw them at the wall.

Bens evil smile was just cringey.

The Deano stuff is good. I think he's great.

From what I've read it DOES sound good; but I really don't think the little boy playing Ben is experienced enough to carry it off. Stella will end up acting for both of them in those scenes! I'll give it a chance though

Poor acting from most of the Wicks clan tonight. Phil Daniels just didn't look interested, which detracted from the drama somewhat. Especially when he confronted Dean in the car lot. Thought Linda Henry was fantastic though.

Rob/Dawn/May/Baybee, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I agree - this is a bit dull and to be honest, Dawn's rather *ahem* 'up for it' for someone in the first few months of pregnancy......

lol. I've never been pregnant myself but i've heard that it increases your libido. But maybe that's later in the pregnancy?! lol.

I don't know how Shirley expects to be forgiven for what she's done. She doesn't seem to show enough remorse, or guilt. Kevin wasn't even their father.

Seriously? Wow, it's amazing how opinions can differ so much!

I think that EE is going through its worst patch since 2004. I'm finding it quite painful and frustrating to watch at the moment. Some of the acting and writing is just terrible. I have to plug my ears when Carly screeches away.

Oh well, horses for courses!

Spoiler
Well Stella is leaving at the end of the year so this whole Stella/Ben thing is all working up to her leaving and will be big.

Tonights episode was definately a lot better. Really touching stuff that brings tears to your eyes. And why all the Dean haters anyway? I think he's really good in my opinion, plus Matt did great tonight. Carly is hot and cute, although...when she shouts, my windows almost break. The performances are great but I still don't like the idea of the storyline.
As for Dawn etc..
