Yeah I think if it had been a cheap throw away thing I would have wondered why he had it but for some reason alot of guys seem to like zippo lighters.

My son wanted one just because they looked cool and he doesn't smoke...he was too young though and I wouldn't have bought him one anyway.

It was probably his own lighter not Pats.

IMO I agree with this too. Neither can seem to act other than over act which just gets annoying after a while as you end up really not caring what happens to them. Think it lowers the tone of the calibre of other actors in EE. And as for Chelsea ....... she must be on par with Dawn's naff "acting" ........ pout, smile, stick your bits out, pout, smile, flick your hair, wide eyed look etc .....

Matt was excellent. I dont like Kevin or Carly, but the latter is a good actress.

Perhaps EE should bring out their own awards - the DAFTA awards. Every storyline seems to get DAFTA and DAFTA and Deano is the DAFTEST character of the lot.

Deano is pretty bad but by far the worst actor in any soap is Phil Daniels terrible overacting

No I think the Brannings are great and not at all boring.

As for Deano he isn't the best actor on the show that thing is for sure and I wasn't that impressed by his performance last night but he is not the worst actor on TV

Perhaps he's too good for EE. Will EE be able to keep him or will he get that many offers that he will just leave ???

Matt Di Angelo was great in Tuesday's episode

I thought he was fantastic! I love this whole story, Deano and Carly are heartbreaking!

It just goes to show that Matt Di Angelo CAN act, when given the right storyline

He has a lot of fans supporting him.. he even has a website on him www.mattdiangeloonline.co.uk , also I hope the possible axing rumours are false.

Says who? everywhere I have read has people slating him. I have even sent a letter to the new EP saying how crap Matt is and told him to visit the forums which have people slating him.

To be fair, he did the best that could be expected of him. Before that episode most of his scenes seem to have consisted of him lying around on the sofa, he's been used almost as an extra for ages now. How's an actor supossed to develop if their never given any decent scenes to work with? I have to admit some of the facial expressions were abit OTT but I suspect he's picked that up from his scenes with Kevin
However considering all the dramatic scenes Matt's had to do recently he's doing great and improving all the time
