Just to let you know the EE site have changed Kevin, Carly and Deano`s profiles so now it says Kevin is Carly and Deano`s step-father and Carly and Deano are step- brother and sister.

None of them are step siblings.

Carly and Deano are half sister/brother as they have the same mother. Steps are related by marriage not blood.

Kevin IS Jimbo's dad, and Jimbo's mother is Shirley - they were married, so I think it would be step brother - ie, same mother and their step father is his father ?! Did Kevin adpot them though or just looked after them unofficially?

I was half expecting Shirley to reveal Carly's father was Pete Beale or Den Watts who she'd met years ago whilst passing through Walford...this is EastEnders after all

Nah, since they share the same mother they are half-siblings. It doesn't matter about marriage, that isn't going to change anything. Just EE have made a mistake on the site thats all.

They would have just lied and put Kevin's name on the certs. Since they were married, Kevin would not even have needed to be there to consent to that when the registrations were done.

Not a lot of peeps get to see their birth certificates. I only saw mine as i needed it for a passport. Maybe kevin's name isnt on it.

I presume Kevin's name is on the certificates. Remember that Carly has been married, which requires a birth certificate. I suppose it's possible that she just got hold of it and never looked at it, but that seems just a little bit unlikely.

They often take ages to remove past characters. Zoe Slater and Danny Moon remained on the main page for literally months after they left.

Yes I am thinking that Kevin's name is on the birth certificate. Carly would have needed hers when she got married I think.
