Oh wow, that looks really good. It says filming 30th Jan- so we won't be seeing it for a while. Corrie just gets better and better.

Hang on if they were evacuated that means that the studio was evacuated not that this is part of the storyline surely.

It may have been related to the weather - there is an article in Inside Soap that says that part of the roof was ripped off the other week in the high winds and they had to be evacuated then.

EastEnders did this for one of their anniversaries. Not very original, Corrie.

Corrie itself did it in the 60s, though it was a wartime bomb I think.

Well in that case the idea really is stale.

iv read tht chesny has a metal detector and detects the world war 2 bomb. one article said it blew leaving viewers wandering who dies and who survives and the other article read that the there is a bomb storyline but it doesnt blow. Also there was a third article but it was muddled with the "roys Rolls" fire which is completly seperate.

1964. Stan was digging up Albert's yard (No 1) and they found an unexploded bomb so everyone was evacuated to the Mission.

The man who defused it turned up many many years later playing Rita's friend Anthony (I think his name was, the one with the wife with Altzeimers)!

That episode was one of the episodes from 1964 in the Corrie Collection, released in 1990.

Chesney finds an unexploded bomb, yes. But that's the only thing that's true about this rumour. There is no explosion, it doesn't go off, no one gets injured or killed.

Hello have any of you lot read my post above! This was reported in Inside Soap on the 30th of January i.e. yesterday. the entire cast and crew were evacuated from the studio the other week when part of the roof was blown off in the high winds. I hadly think that if it was part of a storyline they would all be coming out of the same door!

Look at the photographs then look at the site they are on - this is a media site as it was probably reported in a newspaper yesterday too.
