I don't like the comedy grandma in the Queen Vic, I don't like the comedy scenes between Doris/Jim/Dot. Why couldn't they treat that as a serious issue or make it generally a lot lighter? You're right - it IS very cartoon-like. I bet Jim hasn't got a scratch on him after the still blowing up in his face and knocking him to the ground. |

As soon as I heard the explosion I thought the next shot would be Jim with a blackened face, sticking up hair and splattered fag. Not far from what actually happened. Maybe I could write this crap...
