Thought my telly was on its way out. I've been watching it nervously ever since. Thank goodness I spotted this thread.
yes it faded and went black and white, the bomb storyline came in minf to me to, they've started filming it
My dad has been saying Corrie should be blown up by a nuclear bomb for years....just a shame he isn't in the country to see it.

Just a guess but I think the intro picture jammed in the machine. It is possible that they may have to find another shot to replace that one now. If my guess is correct it like they show when the film gets stuck in the projector at a cinema and literally melts as a result of the heat from the light, although this didn't appear to melt the edge may be damaged, but as I say this is just a guess.

They are going to have a storyline where an unexploded bomb is discovered, but no one is going to die and I'm fairly sure the bomb doesn't even go off.

Both apparently. The photos referred to in another thread relate to a storyline but according to Inside Soap the cast and crew were evacuated from the studio the other week when part of the roof blew off in the high winds.
