She also seems just a little bit too pleased with herself much of the time.
In short, noooooooooo to Natalie C for SCD!! Sorry Sonia. (Now she'll probably partner my beloved Vincent, lose 4 stone and win the series. That'll teach me!) Glad you're of a similar opinion, moorchild ! See my horrified reaction above

Plus, she was due a 'non-winner' after Colin. |

! See my horrified reaction above ![]() I don't necessarily think you have to be a size 8 to look good dancing (the lady who demonstrates for us on Mondays is quite plump, but she is also a lovely mover) but it's true what you say, that some people just aren't very graceful, and if they are a bit on the well-upholstered (as my dad would say) side as well, then all the jumping about in the jive etc just ain't pretty. I would hate to think they would put her with Vincent but then again it could be a whole lot worse - I don't want him to get an older partner because it will probably mean he will go out early. Which would be a very bad thing. See Vincent thread for another thought on this! |

I'm not sure how she'd respond to criticism. I think she'd struggle physically plus I could see Arlene and Craig given her advice on losing a few pounds. Cruel, but remember Arlene's comments to Georgina this year abou learning to walk properly

I feel that now everyone knows what SCD is all about, then anyone who puts themselves up for it should completely respect and be prepared for what's required - ie: really hard work, enthusiasm, health/fitness, a desire to learn from both the pros and the judges (even/especially Arlene!),
Anyone who thinks that they're 'bigger/better' than the SCD ethos just shouldn't bother going on! Oh dear, by the time we've finished the only celebs who'll go on will be those who were ballerinas in a former life. Or cricketers

Or cricketers I guess that's why there are people from different age groups who are different shapes and sizes to show that anybody can dance regardless of age, size or shape.

So that leaves James Jordan, there would be no chance with him, not while Ola is around. And if you want to make sure about no man eating put her with Ian Waite

I can see your point. But what would worry me most is whether or not she could take criticism. SCD is hard work and if you can't handle constructive criticism then any person is in for a tough few weeks

Even if Natalie Cassidy did SCD I doubt she'd make it past the first few weeks
